You will be able to see my work at the Fishlab Gallery in Whitstable from April 30 - May 04, 2025, as a part of the Jon Bird Prize 2025.
I will be exhibiting three black-and-white originals from my 2024 A2 piece collection. It is such a joy to see these works exhibited in a physical space for the first time. These pieces were created during a difficult personal time for me but also one which was fantastic in terms of my own creative exploration. I hope viewers can see the changes in my figures over time, which I think reflects the changes in my life and perception of the world around me.
This collection is available to own in the form of A2 Glicee prints from my online shop, they are made to order.
I was really pleased with the framing of these works; there is something about seeing your work framed that just makes it feel 'official'. I have found myself more focused on creating work in the studio this year, focusing on my collaborative projects and outcomes from those- but it is always such a pleasure to exhibit and to see my work out in the world,
I hope you can make it down to see this show. I also have 3 smaller works currently showing at the Beach Creative Gallery in Herne Bay. The collection focuses on sleeping figures immersed in water and you can view them until May 1.
