An incredible opportunity to collaborate with the writer Jade Cuttle and together explore the world of Jane Austen together. I had the chance to explore the modern woman she was and dispel common myths about who she was. I enjoyed reading her teenage writing as well as indulging in all of her novels. In this time I had access to the archives and extensive knowledge of the curators as Jane Austen House. I left this residency with a vase which exhibits at the house, and I gave an artist talk on my results.
